BATON ROUGE - The Diocese of Baton Rouge announced on Saturday that it will not transition to the Phase 3 COVID guidelines.
Catholic churches under the Diocese of Baton Rouge will still adhere to the COVID guidelines placed in March 2020. Wearing a mask is still mandatory inside the church, social distancing (accomplished by using every other pew), and retaining current protocols for hand and building sanitization will still be in affect.
